Sam is an attorney by day, an author by night, and a father 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Sam was inspired to write about beer-drinking rabbits and bong-smoking bears while playing this later part. Sam’s mind wandered to other creatures with various addictions after reading tales about carb-addicted moose, mice, and pigs to his son and daughter for the millionth time. He just finished his 5th Addicted Animal series. Sam lives in Buffalo, New York, with his wife, two children, two dogs, and two cats, none of which are hooked to anything other than television, chew toys, and catnip.
The first installment in Sam Miserendino and Mike Odum’s Addicted Animal Series, If You Give a Bunny a Beer is a children’s book for parents who drink too much.
A humorous play off of the famous If You Give a Moose a Muffin, the book tells the story of a rabbit who had just one too many. Following the popularity of numerous adult-themed parodies of children’s novels, this author provides a wonderful story that will captivate readers with its charming blend of innocence and lack thereof.
If You Give a Bear a Bong (Addicted Animals Book 2)
The book relates the tale of a bear that had one too many hits as a funny parody of the well-known If You Give a Moose a Muffin. Author Sam Miserendino follows the popularity of earlier adult-themed parodies of children’s books with a wonderful story that will enthrall readers with its endearing blend of innocence and lack of it.
Featuring gorgeous full-color illustrations by illustrator Mike Odum that accompany the text, this endearing cautionary tale warns readers about the perils of combining marijuana with huge beasts.
If You Give a Dog a Doobie (Addicted Animals Book 4)
Author Sam Miserendino follows the popularity of earlier adult-themed parodies of children’s books with a wonderful story that will enthrall readers with its endearing blend of innocence and lack of it. If You Give a Dog a Doobie, a funny parody of the well-known If You Give a Moose a Muffin, tells the story of a pot-loving dog who receives the sweetest present ever from his toking neighbor. The book explores if it is possible to teach a stoned dog new skills or even get him to recall previous ones as it follows the dog through the highs and lows of being high.
This endearing cautionary tale warns readers of the perils of mixing weed and adorable puppies and is accompanied by brilliant full-color drawings by cartoonist Mike Odum.
